Round Ireland Rib Challenge

On Sunday, 28 July a fleet of ribs taking part in the Rib Magazine Round Ireland Rib Challenge will call into Crosshaven for lunch. The fleet will be lead in by Team Chernobyl, a 6m SNRM with two of our helms (Alan and David Venner) on board. The event starts in Kilmore Quay, stopping off in Baltimore, Fenit, Newport, Killybegs, Lough Swilly, Cushendall, and Dun Laoghaire before returning to Kilmore Quay one week later. The event is in aid of the RNLI, so keep an eye out for them as they pass! The fleet will be met by Crosshaven Lifeboat and a fundraising BBQ will be held at about 1300 on Sunday.
