Station Official Opening 19 October

Saturday 19 October has been announced as the date of the Official Opening of Crosshaven Lifeboat Station and the naming ceremony of the new lifeboat B-782 "Miss Betty. The station will be opened by Terence Johnston, Chairman of the Irish Committee of Management. The lifeboat will be handed into the care of Crosshaven Lifeboat Station and officially named. The ceremony will start at 1500 and all are welcome to attend. Complimentary refreshments will be served in the Royal Cork YC afterwards. The crew will host a party there that night, tickets available on the door, all welcome.
