Station boat B-782 arrives in Crosshaven

On Thursday 27 June, Atlantic 75 B-782 Miss Betty finally arrived in Crosshaven. This lifeboat will remain in the station for many years to come except when it is undergoing maintenance. The lifeboat was greeted by all the crew and branch committee, and many of the local community turned out to watch also. Our neighbours in Ballycotton also made the trip around in their lifeboat to welcome the new boat. The crew had moved into our new station only four days earlier in anticipation of the new arrival.
